We distribute t-shirts, sweatshirts and tote bags produced from organic cotton and other alternative fabrics such as hemp and bamboo. The products are manufactured by a fair trade production cooperative in Piedras Negras, Mexico that employs women who lost their jobs when coporate manufacturing plants closed. We offer these items in bulk quantities at a wholesale price for businesses and organizations that custom print their logos and messages on the product to promote their organizations or events. | | Did You Know:
Maquiladora Dignidad y Justicia (Dignity and Justice Assembly Shop) is an apparel production business established to employ workers who lost their jobs when corporate brand name producers, closed the large apparel production facilities they operated in Piedras Negras, Mexico. The worker manged production shop has been supported since its inception by North Country Fair Trade and the Comite Fronterizo de Obrer@as, (Border Committee of Workers), a Mexican non-profit corporation. |
