We donate 10 percent of our profits to a local charity each quarter. This year, we have selected two: the Spokane Women's and Children's Free Restaurant and St. Margaret's Shelter. The Restaurant provides hot meals for destitute and homeless women and their children, and relies on donations from individuals and the community to operate. St. Margaret's is an emergency and transitional shelter for homeless women and their children. It provides housing, case management, parenting classes, and life skills training to homeless women. St. Margaret's also provides emergency shelter to mothers with high-risk newborns.
