Exceptional customer service (like shopping with friends) and genuine concern for the environment - - they send you a monthly Eco-Letter focused not on selling you more products, but educating you on ways to help the environment! As a true shopper, I tend to be a true skeptic when it comes to product claims. Well, yesterday, after being in my eco-Kashmere Ari yoga pants and green bamboo tank for 13 HOURS, during which I taught two yoga classes, went out to lunch, participated in a 4 hour yoga teacher workshop concentrating on hip opening postures, and then home curled up on the couch watching a movie with my family. (Okay, so I should have showered and changed before hitting the couch, but that’s just not how it works around here some days!) Can I tell you that I looked and smelled great all day! No elephant knees, no stinky-sweaty smell. Incredible! Now, I ALMOST get that from Lululemon - - it doesn’t bag too badly in the knees, but that’s because you are shrink wrapped in synthetic stuff. It doesn’t smell, per se - - you don’t smell stinky-sweaty, but you do get this plastic-y, odd smell…not bad, but odd. With Wear the Earth items, I benefited from no bagging, no smell whatsoever, and IT WAS SOO RIDICULOUSLY SOFT AND COMFY!! I never thought yoga clothes could be any more comfortable than they already are, but Wear the Earth proved me wrong! Eco-Kashmere and bamboo are deliciously indulgent…you don’t want to take it off! The pants and tank are criminally S-O-F-T….it’s like you aren’t wearing anything at all…naked yoga without the cellulite! And as a yoga instructor, I live in my yoga clothes, so they have to go the distance. Constant wear and washing. I am pleased to report that the pieces I have wash beautifully (black stays black, no pilling, no odor retention). Thank you so much, Wear the Earth, for making sustainability beautiful!
