Shaklee was the first company in the world to obtain Climate Neutral™ certification and totally offset our CO2 emissions, resulting in a net zero impact on the environment.
We are also proud to partner with some of the most respected world changers of our time – Nobel Peace Laureate Prof. Wangari Maathai, whose Green Belt Movement improves the lives of millions in Africa through planting trees; Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, whose Millennium Project will empower some of the world's most impoverished communities to sustain themselves economically; Prof. Daniel Esty, whose book Green to Gold spotlights companies with business practices that benefit the environment while creating profit; and world-renowned explorer Will Steger, whose Polar expeditions raise awareness about the health of our most sensitive environmental regions and what can be done about it.
In 2006, Shaklee held a first-ever carbon neutral conference in San Francisco by offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions from the Company's 50th Anniversary Conference, attended by some 10,000 participants.
In 2007, Shaklee became the first consumer products company to offset 100% of C02 emissions through the EPA Climate Leader’s program and use 100% green power.
In 2003, Shaklee converted high-polluting school buses in Los Angeles to those with low emissions.
In 2001, Shaklee received the Savings by Design Energy Efficiency Integration Award by the American Institute of Architects.
In 2000, Shaklee opened its World Headquarters, one of the first green, energy-saving, award-winning buildings designed using sustainable materials, including certified sustainable wood, recycled carpets, and recycled plastics. | | Did You Know:
A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO SUPPLEMENTATION CAN BE BENEFICIAL TO REDUCING THE RISK OF ILLNESSES & DISEASES.
This information comes from a recently published peer review study done by Dr Gladys Block Ph.D., renowed nutrition researcher and Professor of Epidemiology & Public Health Nutrition at UC Berkeley.
The study involved tracking long-term dietary supplement users.
The results showed that people who took Shaklee supplements had markedly better health than both other multivitamin and non-supplement users.

It cleans very well at all levels of concentration. I own rental properties and one of them was left very dirty. I was able to clean all the walls, floors, and other items using the Basic H2 using only about a quarter of the bottle. I know that may sound like a lot but I made 25 buckets of cleaner with this amount and I didn't measure it so I may have been using too much. It works wonderful and I don't have to be concerned about exposing myself to chemicals that can do who knows what to me.
Shaklee makes great products and Liz is a great consultant with the company. | Rating:
