Somehow, however, my order was misplaced, and it didn't get processed in time. Elizabeth was also very nice and offered a discount on the late items, but it seems like their online ordering system isn't working out well for them, since they're not able to use it to keep on top of in stock items or even orders that have been placed. Perhaps ordering by phone would be a better option, since the people seemed very nice-- maybe just a bit disorganized. | Rating:

I was initially captured by the excellent prices that Nubius offered on organic baby clothes. They were the lowest priced clothing that I had found in more than a week long search. So, I happily placed my order for a newborn hat and three onesies that were in stock for 0-3 months. But, the experience was quickly a bit more hassle that I imagined making the lower prices and Pristine Planet coupon not worth it.
I promptly received an e-mail confirming my order and thought everything was set. Unfornuately, two of four items were out of stock. Elizabeth, the owner, e-mailed me to allow the option of canceling or changing the order. The problem is that my credit card had already been charged. So, cancelling the order would have meant waiting to be refunded and with a new baby on the way money isn't exactly growing on trees. I didn't want to spend the money twice. So, I agreed on changing the colors options. Elizabeth again e-mailed me to say the options she presented were no longer available. So, I ended up a pair of pants and a tee shirt instead of two onesies. While I am happy that Elizabeth and I finally came to an agreement and she gave me an additional discount, the experience was a hassle. Luckily, Elizabeth is a very nice person and geniunely tried to please me. So, would I recommend Nubius? Yes and no. Yes, if you are adding a few independent pieces to your child's wardrobe and no if you have your heart set on particular style. You may end up in the same position as we did. Elizabeth did tell me that she was trying to stock styles that didn't change as frequently in order to better serve her customers and I believe that she will do so. Overall, the prices and shipping were fine but disappointing because we didn't get what we bargained for... at least in the beginning. | Rating:
